A Note from the Chair

I just finished print outs for tomorrow’s event. Tickets have been emailed. The last load of equipment is about to be loaded into the car. And I might be able to get some sleep. Even with the threat of rain, I think we’re going to have a pretty good day. Here are some numbers:
- 6. People from 6 different states prepurchased tickets for tomorrow.
- 75. That’s the estimated value of each VIP bag.
- 240. The number of bottles of water I plan to give out to my vendors and staff throughout the day (stay hydrated!)
- 15. The number of pizzas ordered to feed our artists, crafters, dealers, partners, and Klingons.
- 140. The number of days until The July 15th Wilkes Comic Con.
- 5. The time my alarm is set for to get this ball rolling.
- 3000. The amount I love all of my team for all of the hard work and effort they put in to put this on. You guys are my friends and my family.
We put this show on with love and with pride. I hope it shows. If this is your first convention or you are a seasoned veteran of large multi-day shows, we hope you find something special here in our little event and come back again.
