Who wants to be a Cosplay Judge? YOU DO!

During our short history, Wilkes Comic Con has gained a reputation as a fun and inclusive place to show off your best craftsmanship and creativity. We value the ideas and creativity of the entire community and we strive to be fair and impartial.

If we’re the kind of place you want to go to show off your best cosplay, you may want to join our or judging team!

We are officially accepting applications to join our panel of judges, and previous judging experience is not required.

Do you have:

• In-depth knowledge of cosplay craftsmanship and design at a master level?
• a commitment to impartiality and fairness in evaluating contestants?
• a desire to encourage and spread the excitement of cosplay to newer and developing audiences?

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate contestants based on craftsmanship, construction, attention to detail, accuracy, creativity and overall presentation.
• Provide constructive feedback to contestants to encourage growth in their craft.
• Collaborate with fellow judges to ensure a fair and enjoyable competition.

Please be aware that entries for the cosplay contest are pre-judged through out the day of the con. We do this so that we can accommodate more participants and provide a greater opportunity for better feedback.

Please note: You must be at least 18-years old to participate as a judge.
