The Return of the Con!
To our Wilkes Comic Con community:
WE’RE BACK!

This year’s con is shaping up to be even better, with several surprises to be announced very soon!
Look for many of your favorite artists and vendors to return as well as gaming in the Dragon’s Den!
After the con, come join us at Dom Bakeries for our Annual Drink and Draw to benefit Wilkes Playmakers!
Back in May of 2020, it broke our hearts to postpone the Wilkes Comic Con. Many of you reached out with your support and we greatly appreciate that! Our community has some of the greatest people in it, with some of the most talented artists, gamers, crafters, and actors. Seeing everyone come together in 2019 to celebrate geek culture and help Wilkes Playmakers was a very special thing.
With the COVID-19 situation improving, we feel we can safely hold the convention. As I stated last year, “the health and safety of our attendees, our exhibitors, and our staff must be our number one priority.” Our Covid-19 response will be practical and within CDC, Wilkes county health department, and our insurance company’s guidelines. We will be requiring masks, providing hand sanitizer, and enforcing social distancing. Our staff will be wearing masks and gloves.
I am proud of the work our team had put in for 2019’s con and in the planning for 2020’s con.
On behalf of the entire staff of Wilkes Comic Con, I want to say thank you for your continued support. We are looking forward to seeing you at Wilkes Comic Con 2021!
